Notice of Public Meetings

The Council of The Corporation of the Town of Kirkland Lake will hold three (3) Public Meetings on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 4:40 PM, consecutively, to receive comments related to the proposed 2024 Town Budget, including Operating, Capital, Water & Wastewater; the proposed 2024 User Fees & Charges (implementation of a new fee or changes/increases to fees); and further increases to Municipal Water and Wastewater Rates.

Media Release - Town Explores Innovative Approaches to Cultural Service Delivery

Following the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the Town of Kirkland Lake has embarked on a path to reevaluate its cultural landscape. Council has directed Administration to terminate the Lease Agreement with the Ontario Heritage Trust (OHT) for the Sir Harry Oakes Château, and to explore alternative methods for providing cultural services in the community.
