The Public Works Department will be completing the following operational work throughout the community:

- Gravel Patches – Maintenance
- Guardrail repairs in various locations
- Storm Sewer Repairs on Federal Street
Members of the public are advised to expect partial / temporary road closures in the area. Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly, allow additional travel time, and follow all posted signage.
Location: Duncan Avenue South (from Kirkpatrick Street to Dixon Avenue), Woods Street (from Government Road to Poplar Avenue), and Taylor Avenue (from Woods Street to Lebel Avenue).

- Utility line locates
- Valve Maintenance & tie-ins
- Continue meter reading throughout Kirkland Lake
- Continue watermain relining project with Fer-Pal
If the water is brown, run cold water until it's clear. It is safe to drink once cleared. If there are any homes that don't have water, please contact the Public Works department. If it's after hours, please contact the afterhours number 705-568-7765.
