The Town of Kirkland Lake continues to experience the impacts of a significant winter storm and rainfall event that began Thursday afternoon. As a result, the Town remains in a declared Significant Weather Event in accordance with Ontario’s Minimum Maintenance Standards (MMS).

The Town of Kirkland Lake Public Works is declaring a Significant Weather Event effective 2:00 p.m. on Thursday April 2, 2026, issued under the provisions of the Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways (O.Reg 239).

NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Town of Kirkland Lake that Nominations may be filed for the offices of: Trustee (1) English Public - District School Board Ontario North East (Zone C), Trustees (2) English Separate - Northeastern Catholic District School Board (Zone D), Trustee (1) French Separate - Conseil scolaire catholique de district des Grandes Rivières (Zone C).
