The Town of Kirkland Lake’s Mayor Stacy Wight has proclaimed the month of January as ‘National Alzheimer Awareness Month’ for Kirkland Lake.

The Town of Kirkland Lake Public Works Department is advising residents and motorists that the traffic signals at the intersection of AlWende Avenue/McChesney Avenue and Government Road West are currently operating in a temporary safety mode due to wind-related equipment damage.

Please be advised that the Public Works Department will commence Snow Removal on January 7, 2026 @ 2:00 am
