Collections & Donations

The Museum of Northern History takes great pride in its extensive collections of objects, documents and photographs of Kirkland Lake's past and present. Among the major themes represented in the collection are the regional mining, agricultural and lumber industries. Artifacts from the local schools and community groups as well as the churches are housed in the Chateau's collection

Monetary Donations

If you are interested in making a financial contribution to the Museum of Northern History, you can do so over the phone, in person, or by cheque. Tax deductible receipts are issued by the Corporation of the Town of Kirkland Lake for donations of $25.00 or more. Donations of any quantity are always appreciated.
