Off-Road Vehicles on Town of Kirkland Lake Streets

There is a new by-law for regulating what type of off-road vehicles are permitted on Town streets. Now in addition to all-terrain vehicles, there can be multi-purpose off-highway utility vehicles and recreational off-highway vehicles.

Churchill/Second Street Pedestrian Crosswalk

The pedestrian crosswalk is complete near the intersection of Churchill and Second Street. Drivers – including cyclists – must stop and yield the whole roadway pedestrian crosswalk. Only when pedestrians have crossed and are safely on the sidewalk can drivers and cyclists proceed.
