Treasury – Bill Payment Options

Utilities, Property Taxes & Accounts Receivable Payment Options

Utilities, Property Taxes & Accounts Receivable Payment Options.

Telephone or Online Banking:

If you are currently set to do online banking then this is a simple option you may choose to pay your bill. The steps to add the Town of Kirkland Lake as a payee are as follows:

  1. You must first sign in to your online banking account.

  2. For the majority of banks the option to add a payee will be under the “Pay Bills” section of their website. You must choose Town of Kirkland Lake and then select Flat Water, Metered Water, Property Taxes, or Accounts Receivable - depending on which bill you are looking to pay.

  3. Once you have selected your payee name, an Account Number field will appear below it. Fill in this field with the account number provided on your bill or statement you received from the Town. If you are choosing to pay more than one bill online then you will need to repeat these steps to add Utilities, Property Taxes, or Account Receivable with their respective account numbers separately.

  4. Review that all your information is correct prior to paying your bill. If an error is made after the payment has completed you may call Town Hall at 705-567-9361 ext. 226 to notify the cashier of an incorrect account number so they are able to apply your payment to the correct account.

Alternatively you may call the bank and complete this via telephone banking – ensure you have the account number located on your bill at the ready.
