    Winter Parking Restrictions will go into effect.
    Vehicles shall not be parked on the streets
    between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:30 am.

    These restrictions apply to the period commencing
    November 1, 2017 to April 15, 2018

    Water Distribution Flushing Program

    The Town of Kirkland Lake Department of Physical Services will be conducting watermain flushing throughout the municipality commencing Monday, October 16, 2017, tentatively ending Friday, October 27, 2017.

    This work will be done on an eight (8) hour basis starting at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until 4:00 p.m. each day.

    This work is necessary in order to remove sediment, rust and other matter from our water distribution system. Should discolouration of water occur please let cold water run until it clears.

    The Town of Kirkland Lake Department of Physical Services wishes to apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause.
    The Town of Kirkland Lake is recruiting volunteer members for the Committee of Adjustment and the Planning Advisory Committee.

    TPR Community Representative for Committee of Management
    The Teck Pioneer Residence requires two Community Representatives for the Committee of Management. Interested persons are invited to submit a confidential letter of application and resume by mail, fax or email.

    The Police Services Board is currently looking to fill a vacancy for a provincially appointed member.
    The Town of Kirkland Lake is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to assess the feasibility and environmental impacts of the decommissioning of the existing Swastika Water Pollution Control Plant and pumping sewage flows to the newly constructed Kirkland Lake Waste Water Treatment Plant. The study is being undertaken in accordance with the requirements for Schedule ‘B’ projects within the Municipal Class EA document (2000, as amended in 2015) approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.

    Please be advised that ALL salespeople going door to door MUST acquire a licence from the Town of Kirkland Lake. If a salesperson knocks on your door, you do have the right to ask to see their town licence.
